KS Smart Technologies Limited's (Formerly known as Soma Papers and Industries Limited) wholly-owned subsidiary KS Smart Solutions Private Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from U.P. Development Systems Corporation Limited (UPDESCO), Government of Uttar Pradesh undertaking, for establishing a large-scale Digital Libraries Infrastructure Project across various Gram Panchayats in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
The scope of the project encompasses design, deployment, installation, commissioning, networking and operationalization of integrated digital library infrastructure, including computing systems, digital access devices, smart display solutions, surveillance and connectivity infrastructure, together with comprehensive onsite warranty and support services.
The aggregate value of the above said contract is approximately ₹111.35 crore (inclusive of applicable taxes and duties).
The project aims to enhance digital access and technology-enabled learning across rural areas through digitally connected library facilities. It is expected to strengthen the Company's position in the Digital Infrastructure and e-Governance sector and augment its order book.
