Kamdhenu Paints commences indigenous manufacturing of Wood Coatings under the Brand Name of KAMOLAC

Kamdhenu Paints, a leading manufacturer of high-quality paints and emulsions, has commenced indigenous manufacturing of wood coating range in a bid to diversify its product portfolio with a focus on premium segment. The company has set-up a dedicated production line for wood coatings at its manufacturing plant at RIICO Industrial Area, Chopanki (Bhiwadi), Rajasthan at an estimated investment of Rs 20 crore.
The development will help significantly optimise cost, improve availability and enable faster servicing for interior designers, architects and furniture professionals, while giving a significant boost to its topline.
The market for wood coatings in India, which was estimated to be close to Rs 700 million in 2024, is expected to touch Rs 1.29 billion by 2030, clocking a CAGR of 10.70 per cent backed by rapid urbanisation, shift in consumer expectations with a rising preference for high-quality premium furniture and interior solutions.
Kamdhenu's dedicated Wood Coating Division has rolled a range of wood finishes including PU wood finishes, high-gloss coatings and allied solutions aimed at enhancing aesthetics, durability and long-lasting protection for wooden surfaces. The products are specifically designed for Indian application conditions while aligning with global performance expectations.
"The addition of a new production line for wood coatings is a part of our push to offer premium products at an affordable price range to meet the fast-growing demand for modern interiors and furniture applications segment. An outlay of 20 crore has been earmarked as we focus on making advanced finishes more affordable for the interiors and furniture ecosystem. We are targeting strong revenue growth in our business by the end of FY29 through Wood Coatings and other new product categories. Last fiscal FY26, the company achieved the revenue of Rs.245 crore." said Mr. Saurabh Agarwal, Managing Director, KCCL.
Kamdhenu Paints is a manufacturer of paints, emulsions and coatings with a broader strategy to widen its product portfolio in high-value application categories. The company regularly engages with interior designers and architects to support adoption and application-led engagement.
