JSW Steel Limited declared preferred bidder for Pissurlem Mineral Block No. XV in the State of Goa

JSW Steel Limited has been declared as the "Preferred Bidder" vide communication dated May 07, 2026 received from the Office of the Director, Directorate of Mines and Geology, Government of Goa, for Pissurlem Mineral Block No. XV, Goa, in the Auction held on May 07, 2026.

The Company is declared as "Preferred Bidder" with highest final offer price at 118.10% of "Value of mineral dispatched". The projected Iron Ore Resources is 96 million tonnes.

The Company will take all requisite steps as per the tender document to obtain Letter of Intent and necessary statutory clearances.

Shares of JSW Steel Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1277.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1283.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 27887 in over 2334 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1286.25 and intraday low of 1267.10. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 35574129.00.
