Sanofi India Ltd appoints Rahul Bhatnagar as the Chairman of its Board of Directors

Sanofi India Limited (SIL) has appointed Mr. Rahul Bhatnagar as the Chairman of its Board of Directors with effect from Thursday, 30th April 2026.

Since joining SIL's Board in 2020, Mr. Bhatnagar has actively contributed across multiple Committees, including Audit, Nomination and Remuneration, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Risk Management. He brings extensive expertise in finance, strategy and governance.

A Chartered Accountant and Wharton MBA, he has held leadership positions across leading global and Indian organizations, including Nestlé, PepsiCo, and the Bharti Group. He currently serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Whirlpool India Limited, Rossell India Limited, TBO TEK Limited & Tasty Bite Eatables Limited.

The Board extends its sincere gratitude to Independent Director Mr. Aditya Narayan for his exemplary stewardship over the past decade, which has significantly strengthened SIL's corporate governance framework.

The Board also placed on record its deep appreciation for Independent Director Mrs. Usha Thorat, whose tenure ended at the close of business hours on 29th April 2026. We thank her for her invaluable contributions, guidance and services during her association with the Company.

The Board warmly welcomes Mr. Bhatnagar to his new role and is confident that his strategic vision will drive continued growth and excellence, as SIL advances its mission to chase the miracles of science.

Shares of Sanofi India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 3434.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 3469.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1060 in over 289 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 3501.95 and intraday low of 3425.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 3659821.00.
