Waaree Energies boosts stake in Transpower Subsidiary to 75.10%

Waaree Energies Limited approved acquiring additional equity stake in subsidiary Waaree Transpower Private Limited (formerly Kotsons), increasing ownership from 64.04% to 75.10% via 2.53 crore shares at Rs 75 each (Rs 190 crore cash consideration).

Glass Manufacturing Capex Approved

The Board sanctioned Rs 3,900 crore capital expenditure for 2,500 TPD glass manufacturing plant in wholly owned subsidiary Waaree Green Glass Private Limited, funded by debt and internal accruals.

Waaree Transpower manufactures transformers (oil filled, dry type, special purpose, renewable energy applications) with 4,000 MVA capacity; FY25 turnover Rs 8.47 crore.

Shares of Waaree Energies Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 3063.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 3164.20. The total number of shares traded during the day was 87777 in over 8963 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 3110.70 and intraday low of 3017.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 268708375.00.
