KMEW to Operate Luxury Cruise Linking Statue of Unity & Omkareshwar

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Limited ("KMEW") (BSE: 543273) (NSE: KMEW) is proud to announce that we have received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) to built and operate a Luxury cruise for 20 Years between Kukshi, District Dhar (Madhya Pradesh) and the Statue of Unity, Gujarat (River Narmada) which covers approximately 135 km of area.

The said LoA was officially handed over to KMEW during the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2025 by Hon'ble Union Minister of Culture, Government of India, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, and Hon'ble Minister of State (IC) for Tourism, Culture, Religious Trust & Endowment, Shri Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi, in the presence of eminent dignitaries, tourism leaders, various celebrities and other industry stakeholders.

KMEW is very proud to announce its official entry into the Maritime Tourism industry with the launch of its first luxury Cruise Vessel to be named as "RIVER PEARL CRUISE" which will be launched within 21 months from the date of LOA subject to the signing of the detailed agreement with MPTB.

ROUTE & HIGHLIGHTS:

Our River Pearl Cruise will offer unforgettable voyage of three days while linking two iconic national landmarks - the "Statue of Oneness" at Omkareshwar and the "Statue of Unity" in Gujarat, combining world class hospitality, fine dining, entertainment and cultural and religion exploration.

- Day 1: Kukshi - Sakarja | Cultural workshops, Ghat ceremonies, and folk performances

- Day 2: Sakarja - Hanfeswar | Fitness programs, temple visits, culinary trails, village tours

- Day 3: Hanfeswar - Mokhadi | Meditation, Statue of Unity & Valley of Flowers tour, gala farewell

The proposed route spans approximately 135 kilometres, passing through picturesque landscapes across Dhar, culminating near the Sardar Sarovar Dam and the Statue of Unity.

The itinerary features tribal art, spiritual retreats, nature trails, kayaking, and ecotourism experiences, ensuring a balance of relaxation and exploration. Post-voyage, the vessel undergoes cleaning, refuelling, and crew rotation for seamless turnaround.

KMEW's "River Pearl Cruise" is designed to blend modern luxury with environmental responsibility. The vessel - a 70-meter twin-hull luxury catamaran - will feature:

- 36 Deluxe Cabins with panoramic river views

- Hybrid propulsion systems and zero-discharge waste management for ecofriendly operations

Keeping in mind the target audience and the average footfall of the Statute of Unity which is around 15,000 Visitors per day, with recent figures suggesting an increase to approximately 30,000 daily visitors as of September, 2025, we are estimating a potential Revenue generation of upto 800 crores for a period of 20 years with this segment.

The project is conceptualized under the MP Tourism Policy 2025, emphasizing ecofriendly operations, community engagement, and responsible tourism practices. Under this LoA, KMEW will work in close coordination with MPTB to:

- Promote eco-tourism and cultural immersion along the Narmada River.
- Generate local employment and build sustainable livelihoods.
- Enhance connectivity and tourism infrastructure across the riverfront.
- Introduce luxury and budget cruise options complemented by onshore adventure, wellness, and heritage experiences.
