Globus Spirits Ltd files suit against Suraj Industries Ltd for Trader Marks infringement

Suraj Industries Ltd has received a communication from the Counsels of M/s Globus Spirits Ltd. stating that they have filed Commercial Suit No. 1052/2025 before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi at New Delhi against the Company and its Material Subsidiary M/s Carya Chemicals & Fertilizers Pvt Ltd for alleged infringement of Trade Marks of Globus Spirits Ltd. and in which the Hon'ble High Court has passed an ex-parte ad-interim injunction.

The Company is of the considered view that neither it nor its Subsidiary has committed any act of infringement and/or passing off. Both the Company and its Subsidiary have been selling their liquor products under labels duly approved by the Excise Department, Government of Rajasthan. Accordingly, the Company is of the opinion that the ex-parte order is legally unsustainable

The Company and its Subsidiary categorically deny and do not accept any of the allegations or claims made by M/s Globus Spirits Limited, and they reserve all rights, remedies, and defenses available to them under the law.

This disclosure is being made without prejudice to the rights and remedies available to the Company and its subsidiary.

Shares of Globus Spirits Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1060.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1045.20. The total number of shares traded during the day was 4478 in over 391 trades.
