Capital Trust Ltd commences Gold Loan business

Capital Trust Limited ("the Company") has commenced its Gold Loan business with the opening of its first dedicated gold loan branch in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.

With this launch, the Company has formally entered the secured lending space. Its strategy is to gradually build a secured lending portfolio with gold loans, focusing on customers in urban and semi-urban areas where demand for reliable and convenient credit continues to grow.

Capital Trust Limited has adopted the recently notified RBI Gold Loan Directions, 2025, thereby ensuring that the product is offered fully in line with the latest regulatory requirements from inception.

The Board and Management of the Company believe that this diversification into secured lending will strengthen the overall business model, balance the lending mix, and enhance long-term growth prospects.

Shares of Capital Trust Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 37.57 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 39.16. The total number of shares traded during the day was 6238 in over 192 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 41.10 and intraday low of 37.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 238794.00.
