Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd acquires Vento Power Infra Pvt Ltd for ₹115.6 Crore, Strengthens Presence in Renewable Energy Sector

Enviro Infra Engineers Limited ("Enviro"), a leading infrastructure and environmental engineering company, has completed the acquisition of Vento Power Infra Private Limited for a cash consideration of ₹115.6 crore. The acquisition, executed through its wholly owned subsidiary, EIE Renewables Private Limited, marks a strategic entry for Enviro into the renewable energy sector and strengthens its long-term vision of building a sustainable and diversified business portfolio. Following this transaction, Vento Power Infra has become a wholly owned subsidiary of EIE Renewables and a step-down wholly owned subsidiary of Enviro.

Founded in 2015, Vento Power Infra is currently developing a 40 MW grid-connected solar power project in Bolangir, Odisha, which will sell power at a tariff of ₹4.10 per unit for approximately 18 years. The project ensures stable, long-term revenue streams and supports India's clean energy transition.

Speaking on the acquisition, Mr Manish Jain, Managing Director, Enviro Infra Engineers Limited said, "This acquisition is a milestone in Enviro's growth journey. The acquisition of Vento Power Infra marks a significant milestone in Enviro Infra Engineers' journey of growth and diversification. By entering the renewable energy space, Enviro strengthens its portfolio beyond environmental and infrastructure engineering and positions itself as a contributor to India's clean energy transition.

The 40 MW solar project in Odisha provides steady revenue visibility through a long-term contracted tariff arrangement, ensuring predictable cash flows for nearly two decades. This move not only aligns with the Government of India's green energy goals but also creates a strong platform for Enviro to scale further into solar, wind, and other renewable energy domains.

Shares of Enviro Infra Engineers Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 268.10 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 259.60. The total number of shares traded during the day was 640692 in over 9308 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 274.00 and intraday low of 260.80. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 172430154.00.
