Enviro Infra Engineers Limited ("Enviro"), a leading infrastructure and environmental engineering company, has completed the acquisition of Vento Power Infra Private Limited for a cash consideration of ₹115.6 crore. The acquisition, executed through its wholly owned subsidiary, EIE Renewables Private Limited, marks a strategic entry for Enviro into the renewable energy sector and strengthens its long-term vision of building a sustainable and diversified business portfolio. Following this transaction, Vento Power Infra has become a wholly owned subsidiary of EIE Renewables and a step-down wholly owned subsidiary of Enviro.
Founded in 2015, Vento Power Infra is currently developing a 40 MW grid-connected solar power project in Bolangir, Odisha, which will sell power at a tariff of ₹4.10 per unit for approximately 18 years. The project ensures stable, long-term revenue streams and supports India's clean energy transition.
