Ashok Leyland Ltd bags order from TNSTC for supply of 320 buses

Ashok Leyland Ltd has bagged an order for supplying 320 BS VI Diesel Fuel Type 12M Low Floor Fully Built Buses to Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation.

Ashok Leyland will deliver state of the art BS VI Diesel Fuel Type 12 Meter Ultra low entry rear engine fully built buses for city operations featuring the advanced iGen 6 BS VI technology with a robust H-Series engine rated at 184 kW (246 hp) equipped with Front and Rear Air Suspension.

The order has been awarded post normal tender process with standard business prudent norms, terms and conditions. There are no adverse terms (or) conditions under the contract.

The order for 320 nos. is at a total consideration of Rs. 297.85 Crores (approximate).

Shares of Ashok Leyland Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 225.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 222.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 193165 in over 2487 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 226.10 and intraday low of 218.60. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 43176929.00.
