LIC increases stake in Asian Paints Ltd

Life Insurance Corporation of India ("the Corporation") has increased its shareholding in equity shares of Asian Paints Ltd. ("Company") from 4,79,66,302 to 6,72,40,527 i.e., 5.001% to 7.010% of the paid-up capital of the said Company.

Shares of Asian Paints Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2389.80 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2385.80. The total number of shares traded during the day was 61696 in over 4128 trades.
