Droneacharya partners with SISIR Radar to strengthen its offerings in Defence and Space Tech using Spatial Aperture Radar

DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with SISIR Radar through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). As part of this agreement, DroneAcharya has become the exclusive reseller of SISIR Radar products in the Southeast Asian and African regions. This partnership marks a significant expansion of DroneAcharya's capabilities in the Defence and Space Tech sectors.

"The collaboration enables DroneAcharya to integrate SISIR's advanced Spatial Aperture Radar (SAR) technologies and hyperspectral imagery into its portfolio, enhancing its ability to offer highresolution 2D and 3D landscape reconstructions for applications in forestry, water management, and agriculture across India", comments Prateek Srivastava, Founder and Managing Director at DroneAcharya. "SAR technology is particularly valuable in these sectors due to its ability to capture high-resolution images regardless of weather conditions or daylight, making it indispensable for continuous monitoring, disaster management, and resource mapping", he adds.

Previously, DroneAcharya announced its foray into SpaceTech through its research and development in CubeSats. This new association with SISIR Radar is crucial as it will enable the integration of SAR sensors into these CubeSat constellations, enhancing their capabilities and applications.

Key elements of the partnership include:

- Sales Leadership: DroneAcharya will spearhead sales of SISIR's SAR Satellite Constellation in the African and Southeast Asian markets.

- Technical Collaboration: SISIR will provide SAR payloads and contribute to the development of a SAR-compatible satellite bus, ensuring seamless integration of the payload with the bus.

- Commercialization of Logistics Drones: DroneAcharya will lead the commercialization efforts of logistics drones developed by SISIR on a royalty basis.

- Joint Development: Both organizations will collaborate on the development of radar-based services. SISIR Radar will act as an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) and Research & Development (R&D) house, while DroneAcharya will focus on scaling manufacturing, marketing technologies, and managing customer-facing projects.
