NCLT accepts Uma Exports Ltd's resolution plan for Swastik Oil Refinery Pvt Ltd

The Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal, Kolkata Bench, vide its order dated April 10, 2024, which was received on April 11, 2024 has approved the Company's Resolution Plan submitted for acquisition of M/s. Swastik Oil Refinery Private Limited. The Company has acquired M/s. Swastik Oil Refinery Private Limited at a consideration of ₹ 14,66,99,177/- (Rupees Fourteen Crore Sixty Six Lakhs Ninety Nine Thousand and One Hundred and Seventy Seven only). This acquisition has enabled the Company's entry into the edible oil manufacturing.

M/s. Swastik Oil Refinery Private Limited (SORPL) is a private company, having its registered office at 3, Pretoria Street, Chandrakunj, 3rd Floor, Kolkata, 700071. SORPL is engaged in the business of manufacturing of oil. The Factory is situated at Swastik Oil Refinery Ltd, Jalan Indistrial Complex Gate No 3 PO Begri Dist Howrah.

Shares of Uma Exports Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 92.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 95.34. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3587 in over 64 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 97.00 and intraday low of 90.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 337380.00.
