RBL Bank Limited's total deposits increased 12% QoQ to Rs. 103454 crores

RBL Bank Limited has announced the financial updates for the period ended March 31, 2024.

Total Deposits increased 22% YoY and 12% QoQ to Rs. 103,454 crores as of March 31, 2024 from Rs. 84,887 crores as of March 31, 2023 and Rs. 92,746 crores as of December 31, 2023 respectively.

Retail LCR Deposits was higher 5% QoQ at Rs. 43,139 crores as of March 31, 2024 as against Rs. 41,213 crores as of December 31, 2023 and 19% YoY from Rs. 36,934 crores as of March 31, 2023.

CASA improved to Rs. 36,448 crores as of March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs. 31,338 crores as of December 31, 2023 and Rs. 31,717 crores as of March 31, 2023.

CASA Ratio was at 35.2% as of March 31, 2024 as against 37.4% as of March 31, 2023 and 33.8% as of December 31, 2023.

Liquidity Coverage Ratio was at 140% as of March 31, 2024 as against 126% as of March 31, 2023 and 132% as of December 31, 2023.

Gross Advances increased 19% YoY to Rs. 85,640 crores as of March 31, 2024 vs Rs. 71,857 crores as of March 31, 2023. It increased 5% QoQ from Rs. 81,864 crores.

Retail advances grew 29% YoY while wholesale advances grew 7% YoY for the quarter ended March 31, 2024. Within wholesale, commercial banking grew at 17% YoY. The mix of retail: wholesale advances was approx. 58:42.

The above information is provisional and being released ahead of the official announcement of the financial results for the year ended March 31, 2024, which is subject to approval by the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, the Board of Directors and audit by the Statutory Auditors of the Bank.
