Punjab National Bank - Q3 FY2024 Business Update

Punjab National Bank has announced the business update for Q3 FY2023-24.

Global Business of the bank was at Rs. 2295673 crores as of Dec 31, 2023, up 11.1% YoY from Rs. 2067116 crores as of December 31, 2022. It was at Rs. 2251631 crores as of Sep 30, 2023.

Global Deposits increased 9.4% YoY from Rs. 1210359 crores as of Dec 31, 2022 to Rs. 1323530 crores as of December 31, 2023 and Rs. 1309910 crores as of September 30, 2023.

Domestic Deposits were at Rs. 1289318 crores as of December 31, 2023, up by 9.1% YoY from Rs. 1181361 crores as of December 31, 2022 and Rs. 1277183 crores as of September 30, 2023.

Global Advances were up 13.5% YoY to Rs. 972143 crores as of December 31, 2023, as against Rs. 856757 crores as of December 31, 2022 and Rs. 941721 crores as of September 30, 2023.

Domestic Advances were at Rs. 935163 crores as of December 31, 2023, up by 13.9% YoY from Rs. 821115 as of December 31, 2022 and Rs. 905043 crores as of September 30, 2023.

The figures for December 31, 2023 are subject to review by the Statutory Central Auditors of the Bank.

Shares of Punjab National Bank was last trading in BSE at Rs. 97.02 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 97.81. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5791828 in over 19721 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 98.87 and intraday low of 96.10. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 563847992.00.
