Thomas Cook India wins 'MICE Travel Operator of the Year' at The Economic Times Travel & Tourism Annual Awards - second edition

Thomas Cook (India) Limited, India's leading omnichannel travel services company has been honoured with 'MICE Travel Operator of the Year' award at The Economic Times Travel & Tourism Annual Awards. The second edition of The Economic Times Travel and Tourism Annual Awards brought together top leaders from the travel and tourism industry on a single platform. The selection criteria covered a range of parameters, with the nominations being judged by an eminent grand jury and validations by Ernst & Young.

Thomas Cook's MICE Team was recognized for its noteworthy delivery over the past year. The Company was selected by the Government of India to manage a range of prestigious events like India's G20 Summit managed 41 events across 31 cities, the 37th National Games in Goa where they exclusively managed accommodation, catering and transportation services for approx. 17,000 guests, and Khelo India 2023 where they handled 20,500 customers.

The award acknowledges Thomas Cook's sustained dedication and stellar delivery on mid to large Corporate MICE movements of 100 to over 2000 delegates/customers to a diversity of destinations including Iceland, Switzerland, France, Italy, Dubai, Denmark, Australia, Spain, Portugal, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Malaysia, Japan, Turkiye, Thailand, Africa and Kenya; Kashmir, Goa, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala in India.

The Company built and leveraged strong partnerships & alliances to deliver distinctive experiences for its MICE corporates. Cutting edge experiences include setting up a special food truck near Iceland's Skógafoss, Chocolate Train Experience in Switzerland, super car experience in Ferraris in an exclusive circuit in Modena (the birthplace of Ferrari), Regatta sailing experience in Barcelona, bike ride on a Harley-Davidson through Capetown, self-drive in a super car from Germany to Austria in one day, and more.
