VST ZETOR: Legacy with New Style

VST Tillers Tractors Ltd and HTC Investments a.s. (owner of "Zetor" Brand) joined hands to bring in best-in-class tractors for farmers in India. The products are showcased at various agricultural and trade fairs across the country over the past few months to incorporate farmers' feedback & features for best suitability.

The two leading names in the farm equipment manufacturing sector have come together and formed a joint venture named "VST ZETOR Private Limited", which will be initially launching three tractors, VST ZETOR 4211, VST ZETOR 4511, and VST ZETOR 5011 in the 40-50 HP range. These products are jointly developed by VST & ZETOR after rigorous testing and technological integration, after taking valuable feedback from the farming community in India for almost 1 year.

The VST ZETOR series features an indigenously built Powerful Best in Class DI Engine, fully Constant Mesh Transmission with Helical Gears and VZmatic Hydraulics with a wider Platform, Dual Diaphragm Clutch, optimum Turning Radius, adjustable Premium Seat, Dual acting Power Steering, and Aerodynamic Styling.

The VST ZETOR series also features an 1800 kg Lift capacity, Integrated Car-like Headlamps, Compact packaging with under hood Muffler, a Stylish SMC Bonnet, a Stylish Dashboard with a Digital Cluster, a Heat Deflector, a Stylish & fully Covered Fenders, a Side Shift lever and GSPTO.

The jointly developed products from VST & ZETOR will be soon available to Indian farmers through their channel partners.

Zetor Tractors began their journey in 1946 with the first model Z 25, in erstwhile Czechoslovakia. Since then, Zetor has rolled out more than 1.3 million tractors to over 130 countries around the world. Zetor was introduced in India during 1960s, when thousands of Czech tractors were exported to India. The tractors earned a reputation in India for their high reliability, simple operation, and easy maintenance.

Based on the success of its tractors, Zetor began partnering through a licensing contract with the state-owned Hindustan Machine Tools (India's largest machine tool manufacturer at that time) to produce several Zetor models under the HMT ZETOR brand. More than 60,000 tractors were rolled out under the HMT ZETOR brand during 1970-1990.

Shares of V.S.T Tillers Tractors Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 3689.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 3654.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1751 in over 377 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 3742.20 and intraday low of 3594.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 6467013.00.
