BHEL - Titagarh Wagons consortium wins order of 80 Nos. Vande Bharat trainsets

The consortium of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited and Titagarh Wagons Limited (BHEL-TWL Consortium) has been awarded an order for 80 nos. Vande Bharat trainsets in the mega tender of Indian Railways.

The order is for manufacturing and supply of 80 Nos. Sleeper Class Vande Bharat Trainsets and comprehensive maintenance of the same for 35 years in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Agreement.

The order also envisage the consortium to equip, upgrade, operate and maintain the exclusive place provided in the Manufacturing Unit at ICF Chennai and Two Depots assigned by Indian Railways.

The order has been given to supply 80 Trainsets at the rate of Rs 120 crs/Trainset (excluding taxes & duties).Further AMC order has also been placed for 35 years.

Shares of Titagarh Wagons Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 287.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 286.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 47501 in over 1706 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 290.65 and intraday low of 281.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 13574142.00.
