Aksharchem India Ltd stops production at Vinyl Suphone plant for maintenance

Aksharchem India Ltd has announced that the Vinyl Suphone (VS) plant at Village Indrad, Dist: Mehsana is due for maintenance since last maintenance was taken five years before. Considering above and also ongoing prevailing adverse market condition in the recent months the Company has decided to take planned maintenance and stop the production of VS with immediate effect. However dispatch operations of the Company remain "as usual" and we foresee that in near future the market conditions will become favorable and the production of VS get resumed.

Shares of AksharChem India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 316.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 308.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 910 in over 140 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 319.00 and intraday low of 306.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 286371.00.
