Themis Medicare Ltd to increase stake in Gujarat Themis Biosyn Ltd

The board of directors of Themis Medicare Ltd has approved additional investment in Gujarat Themis Biosyn Limited ("GTBL"), an Associate Company by way of purchase of 9,39,597 equity shares of GTBL (representing 6.47% of equity share capital of GTBL) from an existing shareholder of GTBL, viz. Pharmaceutical Business Group (India) Limited (“PBG India") at Rs. 745 per share.

Consequently, Share Purchase Agreement and other related documents will be executed between the Company and PEG India. On completion of the said purchase, the Company's shareholding in GTBL would increase from 23.19% to 29.66%.

Shares of GUJARAT THEMIS BIOSYN LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 737.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 738.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 33380 in over 1144 trades.
