Gamer Shorts Strengthens its Portfolio of Short Games to 50!

Within two months of its launch, Gamer Shorts, a first-of-its-kind mobile application in the world, developed by Hyderabad based 7seas entertainment limited (BSE:7SEASL) has now added 25 more innovative games to its appealing bouquet.

At the time of its August launch, the app, had 25 short and simple mobile games in place. Each swipe in the app enriches users with multiple short games and news in a unique format.

The short games business is rapidly expanding and improving its standing in the gaming industry. As the number one gaming destination, Gamer Shorts quickly rose to the top of the list for many players.

"The new games come in action, adventure, arcade, platform, pool, puzzle, shooting, soccer, and sports genres," said Mr. L. Maruti Sanker, Managing Director of 7Seas Entertainment Limited. The app is available to Apple and Android customers. By delivering quick and succinct gaming news as it happens, Gamer Shorts fills a gap in the gaming industry.

India's budding online gaming market has seen an unheard-of rise in recent years, propelling it into the top five global markets for mobile gaming. The next emerging industry is online gaming, which is growing at a 38% rate.

According to a KPMG report, India currently has 420 million online gamers, second only to China. The report predicts that after five years of steady growth, it will have tripled in value and will be worth $3.9 billion by 2025.

"Various other reports also suggest that number of gamers is expected to cross 450 million by 2023" Maruti Sankar observed. We are sure to have a bigger pie in the above in near future, he added.

Shares of 7Seas Entertainment Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 20.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 21.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5218 in over 21 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 21.75 and intraday low of 20.70. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 108048.00.
