NHPC inks MoU with Damoder Valley Corporation for JV

NHPC Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Damoder Valley Corporation (DVC) on 20.07.2022 to "Explore formation of Joint Venture company (JVC) for exploring and setting up Hydropower and Pump Storage Projects".

The MoU heralds a new dawn in co-operation between the two Power Sector Organization in jointly harnessing the Hydropower Projects and Pump Storage Projects as Energy Storage Solutions in line with the national objective of Energy Transition i.e 500 GW of renewable energy by 2030 and Net Zero by 2070. The MoU envisages joint development of mutually identified projects.

Shares of NHPC Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 33.30 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 33.70. The total number of shares traded during the day was 364218 in over 1513 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 34.20 and intraday low of 33.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 12220209.00.
