Century Enka Ltd updates on PPA for 10.5MW wind-solar hybrid power plant

Century Enka Limited has executed a shareholders agreement with Aditya Birla Renewables Limited (ABReL) & ABReL Century Energy Limited (Power Producer) and Power Purchase Agreement with ABReL Century Energy Limited (Power Producer).

The purpose of entering into the agreement is to operate and maintain 10.5 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid power plant in the State of Gujarat (the "Project") wherein the power generated will be supplied exclusively to one of the facilities located at Bharuch, Gujarat under the Captive Rules. The Project will be operated by Power Producer.

The Capital of the Company will increase from time to time and Century Enka will subscribe 26% and ABReL will subscribe 74% of Total Capital in trenches. Present capital of the Company is Rs 1,00,000 comprising 10,000 equity shares of Rs 10/- each and the said Company has subscribed the shares in given ratio.

The Power Producer shall have rights to operate the said Project. Century Enka shall have rights over reserved matter.

Shares of Century Enka Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 534.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 551.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 18865 in over 1692 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 550.90 and intraday low of 532.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 10189588.00.
