Wockhardt Ltd allots 3,32,44,650 Equity Shares

Pursuant to the finalization of the basis of allotment for the rights issue, approved by the designated stock exchange, i.e. National Stock Exchange of India Limited, the Committee duly authorized by Board, today, considered and approved the allotment of 3,32,44,650 Equity Shares at a price of Rs. 225 per Equity Share (including a premium of Rs. 220 per Equity Share) ("Allotment").

In view of the above, the paid-up equity share capital of the Company has increased from Rs. 55,40,77,515/- (11,08,15,503 equity shares of Rs. 5/- each) to Rs. 72,03,00,765/- (14,40,60,153 equity shares of Rs. 5/- each).

Shares of Wockhardt Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 297.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 302.20. The total number of shares traded during the day was 113499 in over 3535 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 309.80 and intraday low of 295.20. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 34408275.00.
