Promoter group increases stake in Som Distilleries to 29.0198%

Shri. Jagdish Kumar Arora, promoter of Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd has been purchasing the equity shares of the company through open market purchase regularly. With the new purchases, the promoter group's stake has increased in the company from 1,99,52,060 equity shares (28.5083%) to 2,03,10,060 equity shares (29.0198%).

- 85,000 equity shares (0.1215%) through open market purchase on March 17, 2022.

- 80,000 equity shares (0.1143%) through open market purchase on March 21, 2022.

- 49,000 equity shares (0.0700%) through open market purchase on March 22, 2022.

- 39,000 equity shares (0.0557%) through open market purchase on March 23, 2022.

- 1,05,000 equity shares (0.1500%) through open market purchase on March 25, 2022.

The company also recently announced increasing sales for its Beer brand in Karnataka and the production of IMFL from its Odisha plant will be commissioned in Q1 FY2022-23.

Shares of Som Distilleries & Breweries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 60.60 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 54.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 144550 in over 2238 trades.
