Dish TV India reappoints Mr. Jawahar Lal Goel as MD

The Board of Directors of Dish TV India Limited at their meeting held on March 25, 2022, has approved the re-appointment of Mr. Jawahar Lal Goel (DIN: 00076462) as the Managing Director of the Company from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2025 (both days inclusive), basis the recommendations of Nomination and Remuneration Committee, as per the applicable provisions of Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI Regulations. Further, the said re-appointment is subject to the approval of shareholders of the Company, in terms of applicable provisions. Mr. Jawahar Lal Goel is also the Chairman of the Board and shall continue to be the Chairman.

The board also approved the re-appointment of Mr. Anil Kumar Dua (DIN: 03640948) as the Whole Time Director of the Company from March 26, 2022 to March 25, 2025 (both days inclusive), basis the recommendations of Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Shares of Dish TV India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 16.23 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 16.69. The total number of shares traded during the day was 742926 in over 1913 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 16.92 and intraday low of 16.11. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 12244854.00.
