Indrayani Biotech Ltd revives operations of Biotech Division

Indrayani Biotech Ltd has revived its operations in the Biotech Division.

The Biotech division now provides products and services on a turnkey and independent basis including consultation services in the field of chemical-free agriculture using Bio products, Aquaculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Tissue culture etc.

The measures for revival have been successfully implemented by actively starting to market and sell Bio fertilizers, Biopesticides, Bio control products, Bio fungicides, Biotonics VAM, Organic compost and other Agri / Aqua related products. The company is also engaged in Neem-based agriculture and Agro based services.

To spearhead the growth in this division, the company has appointed Mr. MN Ramkumar as CEO - Biotech Division and Mrs. N. R. Elakkiya, M.Sc, Microbiologist as Technical Head - Biotech division.

Mr. Ramkumar - CEO, Biotech Division

Mr. Ramkumar, an agriculturist by profession was managing M/s. Nandhini Biotech as a sole proprietorship and was engaged in the manufacturing of biofertilizers in Southern India. He has vast experience in the field of agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Floriculture, and aquaculture for the past 20 years. He has vast expertise in making agricultural produce organically with zero involvement of chemical substances. His vision is to help farmers and enable them raise the yield through chemical-free fertilizers and pesticides, organically. He firmly believes in environmental health, growth, and practices the related activities to the benefit of farmers & society. He has joined the organisation with a passion and promoting Agro products and services globally.

N. R. Elakkiya, M.Sc. - Technical Head, Biotech Division

Elakkiya, a Microbiologist by profession has expertise in Environmental Technology. She has done her internship in the Department of Laboratory Medicine, Department of Bioinformatics and study on microorganisms. Her academic project includes "the isolation and identification of microorganisms for the degradation of protein in hypersaline tannery wastewater" under the guidance of the Chief Scientist. She has done a course on Genetics in Social Context which is certified by Concordia College - Newyork. Elakkiya has participated in many conferences & exhibitions including the National Conference on exploring the potentials of microbes for Bioscience, the national Conference on Microbiology and Biotechnology, Conversion and management of Faunal Resources, Marine Biotechnology. She has also won prizes in Biographing, Biosolutions.

Shares of INDRAYANI BIOTECH LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 25.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 25.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 123067 in over 477 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 26.20 and intraday low of 24.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 3089192.00.
