DCB Bank appoints Ms. Rupa Devi Singh as Non-Executive Part-Time Chairman

The Board of Directors of DCB Bank Limited at its Meeting held on January 14, 2022 has approved the appointment of Ms. Rupa Devi Singh (DIN 02191943), Independent Director as Non-Executive (Part-Time) Chairman of the Bank in the vacancy caused by retirement of Mr. Nasser Munjee from that position. This appointment is subject to approval from regulatory authorities and the shareholders of the Bank.

The appointment of Part-Time Chairman requires prior approval of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for which an application is being made. The appointment of Ms. Rupa Devi Singh as Non-Executive Part-Time Chairman will be effective from the date of receipt of such RBI approval.

Shares of DCB Bank Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 87.05 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 86.20. The total number of shares traded during the day was 102270 in over 1212 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 87.25 and intraday low of 85.20. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 8832724.00.
