Fire Accident at Dhampur Sugar Mills Limited's distillation plant

A minor fire accident occurred on 17th October, 2021 at one of the distillation plant of Dhampur Sugar Mills Limited's chemical unit, situated at Dhampur, Distt. Bijnor, U.P. during start-up process.

There has been no injury to human life. The Company does not expect significant adverse impact on the operations. The said plant is expected to be back in operation within 7-10 days.

Shares of Dhampur Sugar Mills Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 330.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 325.60. The total number of shares traded during the day was 38454 in over 1587 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 337.95 and intraday low of 325.35. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 12779376.00.
