Torrent Power SEC Ltd has announced that the Hon´ble High Court of Gujarat at Ahmedabad has passed an order on July 12, 2006, sanctioning the Scheme of Arrangement including amalgamation u/s 100, 391 to 394 of the Companies Act 1956, of Torrent Power AEC Ltd, the Company and Torrent power Generation Ltd with Torrent Power Ltd. The formal order of the Hon´ble High Court in this respect is awaited.
