Essar Oil to consider issue of securities

Essar Oil Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on November 16, 2007, inter alia, to consider further issue of securities including issue of securities and warrants on a preferential offer basis to the Promoters / Promoter Group.
