Government to infuse Rs. 2229 crores in IDBI Bank Ltd

The Government of India, vide its letter dated August 19, 2015 has advised that the Government has decided to infuse capital funds to the tune of Rs. 2,229 crore (Two Thousand Two Hundred and Twenty Nine crore) in IDBI Bank by way of preferential allotment of equity in favour of the Government of India.

Shares of IDBI BANK LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.66.5 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 69.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 536168 in over 2097 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 69.7 and intraday low of 66.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 36375833.
