Ahluwalia Contracts secures 4 new projects worth Rs 130 crores

Ahluwalia Contracts India Ltd has announced that the Company has bagged 4 new civil construction projects, worth Rs 130 crores in June 2007. The Company has been awarded:

- The construction of Advocates Chamber by additional work worth Rs 40 Crores, by Public Work Department, NCT Delhi in the District Court Complex, Saket, New Delhi. The Company is already constructing District Court, Saket, New Delhi worth Rs 102 Crores.

- Civil works for construction of Super Specialties (Fortis) Hospital at Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi worth Rs 46 Crores.

- Construction of two Greenfield Hypermarket (Reliance Retail Store) at Vikaspuri and Dwarka Sector - 13, New Delhi worth Rs 44 Crores.

In addition to the above, the Company has recently been awarded one DBOT / PPP project for the construction of Model Bus Terminal with Commercial Complex at Kota, Rajasthan. The aggregate order book of the Company stands at Rs 1959 Crores.

The stock closed the day at Rs.429.10, up by Rs.15.60 or 3.77%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.435 and low of Rs.411. The total traded quantity was 15777 compared to 2 week average of 4179.
