With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Goldman unit angles for stake in Nicco", Nicco Corporation Ltd has clarified that from time to time, the company considers various corporate strategic options as an ongoing process.

Once the Company finalizes any arrangement or proposal, due intimation is sent by the Company to the Stock Exchange/s.

The stock closed the day at Rs.31.10, up by Rs.2.80 or 9.89%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.31.10 and low of Rs.28.85. The total traded quantity was 857054 compared to 2 week average of 1055124.
