Central Bank of India's Authorised Capital increased to Rs. 5000 crores

Government of India, Ministry of Finance Notification dated May 07, 2014, has approved the increase in Authorised Capital of Central Bank of India from Rs. 3000.00 crores (Rupees Three Thousand crores) to Rs. 5000.00 (Rupees Five Thousand crores) in terms of sub-section (2A) of Section 3 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970.

Shares of CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA was last trading in BSE at Rs.52.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 52.4. The total number of shares traded during the day was 149563 in over 1484 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 53.7 and intraday low of 51.9. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 7877212.
