Bank of India allots 46360686 shares to Government of India at Rs. 215.70

In the Extraordinary General Meeting members had accorded their approval for issue of 4,63,60,686 Equity Shares to Government of India on Preferential basis at a price of Rs. 215.70 per share (including premium of Rs. 205.70 per share). Upon receipt of funds from Government of India, Bank of India has on December 11, 2013 allotted the said equity shares to Government of India in the name of President of India in terms of SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations- 2009.

Shares of Bank of India was last trading BSE at Rs.216.70, up by Rs.10.95 or 5.32%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.218.30 and intraday low of Rs.205.50.

The total traded quantity was 9.91 lakh shares as compared to 2 week average of 5.59 lakh shares.
