Bharti Airtel allots 1,214,307 equity shares upon conversion of FCCBs

Bharti Airtel Ltd has announced that pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Offering Circular dated May 12, 2004 the Allotment Committee of Directors of the Board of the Company, in its meeting held on May 15, 2007, has issued 1,214,307 Fully Paid Up Equity Shares of the Company upon conversion of USD 6500000 FCCBs.

With the allotment of the above shares the equity base of the Company has increased from present level of 1895934157 to 1897148464 Equity shares of Rs 10/- each.
