Shetron JV commences commercial production

Shetron Ltd has announced that Shetron Metropak Pvt Ltd, a 50:50 joint venture of the Company and Metropak A/S, Denmark, (a Company of Glud & Marstrand Group) has started commercial production of Lug caps and closures for the food industry on April 24, 2007. The joint venture Company is a part of Shetron's endeavour to focus on the fast growing agro-food packaging sector in the country.

The stock closed the day at Rs.60.25, down by Rs.0.45 or 0.74%. The total traded quantity was 937 compared to 2 week average of 3508. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.61.50 and intraday low of Rs.59.75.
