South East Asia Marine rechristened as SEAMEC Ltd

The members of South East Asia Marine Engineering & Construction Ltd at the 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on April 18, 2007, have approved the change of name of the Company from "SOUTH EAST ASIA MARINE ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION LTD’ to "SEAMEC LTD".

Further, the name South East Asia Marine Engineering & Construction Ltd, wherever it occurs in the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company, particularly in Clause I of the Memorandum of Association and Article 1 of the Articles of Association to be substituted by the name of "SEAMEC LTD".

The company's shares closed the day on Wednesday at Rs.196.55, up by Rs.4.95 or 2.58%. The total traded quantity was 25538 compared to 2 week average of 73174. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.199 and low of Rs.191.
