Grasim Industries Ltd has announced the Audited results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007. The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 4744.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 2627.40 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 18872.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 25713.30 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.
The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 15358.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 8632.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 68725.50 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 88853.50 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.
The consolidated results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007: The Group has posted a net profit (after minority share) of Rs 5585.30 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 3488.00 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 29934.60 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 41852.00 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.
The consolidated results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Group has posted a net profit (after minority share) of Rs 19675.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 10406.40 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 104919.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 144128.90 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.
The Board at its meeting held on March 12, 2007 had declared an interim dividend of Rs 27.50 per share for the financial year 2006-07. The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 25, 2007, inter alia, has decided to treat the said interim dividend as the final dividend for the year ended March 31, 2007.
