Varun Shipping Board to recommend final dividend

Varun Shipping Company Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on May 03, 2007, inter alia, to consider and approve the audited accounts of the Company for the year ended March 31, 2007 and to recommend final dividend for the year ended on that date.

The stock closed the day at Rs.60.90, up by Rs.2.55 or 4.37%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.61.50 and low of Rs.58.05. The total traded quantity was 168308 compared to 2 week average of 33860.
