Syngenta India Q1 net profit zooms to Rs.101.10 million

Syngenta India Ltd has announced the Unaudited results for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 101.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to net loss of Rs 13.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006.

The Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 826.70 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 1246.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The stock was trading at Rs.703.65, up by Rs.2.15 or 0.31%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.708.95 and low of Rs.691. The total traded quantity was 59847 compared to 2 week average of 104965.
