Maharashtra Seamless Q4 PAT at Rs.530.70 million, total income at Rs.3777.20 million

Maharashtra Seamless Ltd has announced the Unaudited results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007. The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 530.70 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 420.30 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 2980.80 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 3777.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 2353.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 1396.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 9842.50 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 14264.50 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The figures for the year ended March 31, 2006 are Audited.

The stock was trading at Rs.571, down by Rs.18 or 3.06%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.595.90 and low of Rs.571. The total traded quantity was 64747 compared to 2 week average of 38475.
