NALCO Q4 total income at Rs.16866.30 million, PAT at Rs.5908 million

National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) has announced the Unaudited results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007. The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 5908.00 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 6055.70 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 16293.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 16866.30 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 23807.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 15622.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 51223.90 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 63449.90 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The figures for the year ended March 31, 2006 are Audited.
