Diana Tea Updates on ensuing Board Meeting regarding proposed dividend

With reference to the earlier announcement dated April 23, 2007 regarding Board to recommend dividend for the year ended December 31, 2006 in the proposed Board Meeting to be held on April 30, 2007.

In this regard, Diana Tea Company Ltd has announced that the Board has infact no intention to take this matter in its meeting to be held on April 30, 2007. The Agenda has been inadvertently printed.

Therefore there is no proposed dividend for the year ended December 31, 2006.

The stock was trading at Rs.13.58, up by Rs.0.42 or 3.19%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.14.47 and low of Rs.12.86. The total traded quantity was 103810 compared to 2 week average of 219522.
