Siemens report lower Q2 net profit at Rs.1080.53 million

Siemens Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 1080.53 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 1178.26 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 11753.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 21408.98 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1062.75, down by Rs.5.85 or 0.55%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1126 and low of Rs.1055. The total traded quantity was 156818 shares compared to 2 week average of 152852.
