Power Finance Q4 total income at Rs.12369.20 million

Power Finance Corporation Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007. The Corporation has posted a net profit of Rs 3682.98 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 2146.38 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 7808.21 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 12369.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Corporation has posted a net profit of Rs 9832.12 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 9709.49 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 31275.86 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 39263.01 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The figures for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2006 are Audited.

The stock was trading at Rs.117.20, up by Rs.1.40 or 1.21%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.121.60 and low of Rs.112.55. The total traded quantity was 3801788 shares compared to 2 week average of 901095.
