Havells India completes all formalities for Acquisition of SLI Sylvania

With reference to the earlier announcement dated March 13, 2007 regarding the approval and signing of Share Purchase Agreement for acquisition of SLI Sylvania Business by the Company, Havells India Ltd has announced that the Company has completed all the formalities related with the said Acquisition through purchase of entire issued share capital of target Companies, i.e. SLI Lighting Products, Inc., SLI Europe BV and Lighthouse Investment Holdings Ltd and complied with all the conditions precedents attached to the Share Purchase Agreement.
The stock was trading at Rs.468.95, up by Rs.6.20 or 1.34%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.476.65 and low of Rs.466.20. The total traded quantity was 9023 shares compared to 2 week average of 14376.
