Advanta India Ltd lists at Rs.640 in BSE, 665 in NSE

The equity shares of Advanta India Ltd listed in both National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange today (April 19, 2007). The company issued shares at Rs.640 per share in the recently concluded IPO.

The stock opened in NSE at Rs.665, up by Rs.25 over its issue price giving a marginal premium. But, the stock went on to hit an intraday low of Rs.585.35 and recovered from there to hit an intraday high of Rs.1000. The stock closed the day at Rs.845.50, up by Rs.205.50 or 32.11%. The total traded quantity was 6836148 at an average price of Rs.857.49 resulting in a turnover of Rs.58619.29 Lakhs.

In BSE, the stock opened the day at Rs.640 with no appreciation over the issue. The stock hit an intraday low of Rs.591 and recovered smartly to hit an intraday high of Rs.992.90. The stock closed the day at Rs.850.05, up by Rs.210.05 or 32.82%. The total traded quantity was 5885749 shares at an weighted average price of Rs.855.21.
