Indusind Bank offers an attractive discount on Pure Gold on Akshay Tritiya

Indusind Bank Ltd has announced that on the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya, the Bank announces a special discount on the card rate of its exclusive range "Suvarna Mudra" gold coins / ingots of 999.9 purity, a pure gold investment. The offer is valid for a period of one week beginning from April 19, 2007.

Under the Suvarna Mudra scheme, the Bank sells gold coins of 5 and 10 grams and ingots of 50 grams at the highest purity of 999.9.

This year, to meet the rising demand, the Bank has launched special gold coins bearing images of the deities Lakshmi and Ganesha on 5 and 10 grams coins, in addition to the plain coins.

The sale of Gold coins adds flavour to the array of the Bank's existing retail products and also provides a good investment opportunity for retail customers. The gold is of the highest purity, with 999.9 fineness, an investment worth its weight for any investor.

The product comes with tamper-proof Assay Certified Certicards, Walk-in customers can buy these gold coins across the counter by paying cash upto Rs 50,000/-. Beyond Rs 50,000/- the coins will be sold only by debit to customer accounts (the Bank customer) or against Pay orders / Demand Drafts.
